We are working as a duo since 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland. We found a connection via an existing melancholy distinct to both our native cultures. Ana born in 1974 in Veracruz, Mexico and studied Graphic Design in Arte AC Institute of Monterrey. Noora born in 1979 in Helsinki, Finland and pursued artistic passion studying Fine arts at Parsons School of Design. Life has shaped our sensitivity and view of humanity and surroundings. The present is determined by our past and today determines our future, never stop the fight. The delicate and difficult relationship between nature and human is out of balance. We are in a constant battle against our own actions, rejecting the thought of not being omnipotent. Our shell has been cracked and the fight has begun. Accepting that actions have consequences and that positive transformation is not visible instantly but through constant will for change. Still aggressively overpowering the nature instead of looking for a way to reset the equilibrium and calmness. Then, as swiftly as a flash of the camera we are brought back to reality. The fact is there is beauty in everything, even in pain and struggle. We believe this connection is true with all particles that become transformed from physical reality into a new form through movement that we capsule with photography.
