Self-taught and serial creative, I go by instinct and feel. A free spirit, curious, lively and a great listener, I like to use my images to tell a story and convey a strong emotion. For me, photography is an act of love, because it's above all about taking an interest in others. I see beauty everywhere and share my vision. Today, my work is divided between commercial and artistic projects. Originally from Lausanne, I am now based in Montreux (Swiss Riviera). My official studio is in Vevey, but I work all over Switzerland and internationally. Before devoting my life to photography, I devoted it to writing and as editor-in-chief and founder/publisher of several print magazines (OPEN, 7SKY, 7SKY PEOPLE, FIVESTARS...).

This series "tells the story" of the melancholy, sometimes dark, but always hopeful spirit of rock singer NoleM (Julien Brousset, singer-songwriter), based in Martigny in the Valais. Like any self-respecting artist, this 40-year-old man asks himself a lot of questions and is looking for a meaning to existence, to his life, if there is one... These images have been "styled" by the artist, but have not been retouched in any way, in order to retain a raw, imperfect spirit...like life itself. These photos were taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV / EF 50mm f/1.2L lens.
