As an artist it‘s my responsibility to reflect the world I live in. Why call yourself an Artist otherwise? It‘s easy to close your eyes, but not to close your heart. You can ignore what’s happening in front of your eyes, but you cant just tell your heart to stop feeling. I am not a winner, but I am a believer. Its more fun believing when no one else does. Anyone can be a doubter. And history isn’t written by doubters. Right now many are choosing to stay silent despite all that we are seeing unfold around us. I stay away from those who notice everything, but remain silent. They usually have a habit of wanting to erase your scars-the only proof the past is real.
