Christopher's photographs explore post-Soviet design, architecture and life in Armenia and Georgia. His ongoing project takes him to sites that can be tough to find or access. This work highlights the contrast between once-futuristic visions and present-day reality, while inviting reflection on the impermanence of history and the fragility of progress. Christopher's images not only preserve the physical form of these spaces but also open a dialogue on the broader social and political changes that led to their current state.

Christopher lives and works in Basel, Switzerland. Many of his works are documentary in nature and created in China and Japan, as well as in Post-Soviet states such as Georgia and Armenia. Increasingly, he experiments with colorful flashes and explores surreal compositions. For the photoSCHWEIZ Christopher has arranged images that do not have the typical documentary character, but correspond more to the artistic aspect – Colorful Spaces: A Study in Hopeful Retreats.
