Born in Zurich in 1973. Law drop out from the University of Zurich. In India for the past two decades. Sit and observe, meet people from all walks of life in cities as in remote villages, discover and capture faces and traditions, share different realities. I had the opportunity to have several exhibitions, publish some books and pursue commissioned work as well as my own projects. The focus in my work is mostly people related, I love to shoot portraitures on location or studio in controlled light situations but also the vastness of nature as in the different mountain ranges around the world.

A collection of double exposures – a study of botanical anthropology. As we live in an imaginary collective, we dominate nature and forget that we are just part of it. There is no winner in this competition, only losers. Until we realize the importance of a merging coexistence. Leaves and skins, forms and bodies. Protection and separation, touch and feel. Synthesis and unity, a fusion of nature and humanity. What we are and where we come from – all in vain? The stream of life, our veins, the microcosm-macrocosm, our life lines, our marks and shapes. All becomes one. Having spent the last 4 years in a lush and green environment in Goa, India, I had the chance to observe the diversity and beauty of the flora in my own garden. And one day I started to experiment with double exposures of leaves on my own body. Soon after it became a collection of different bodies with different leaves.
