No, I wasn't born already with a camera in my hand ...and no, my father wasn't already a photographer and gave me my first camera when I was five years old, and I didn't took pictures already as a child, lol. Just a few years ago I got more into photography, as I wen't the first time to Japan, a country I became interested in a long time ago. When I finally managed to get there, I wanted to take more than just ordinary mobile photos and videos. I got so passioned about this work, that after a few years autodidactic training I've recently established my own photo and video production company ...sounds silly, right? Well, better than sitting around and watching tv and dring beer all the time.

After spending a few weeks in Japan, I realised, shooting temples, or autumn leaves is very repetitiv and can become totally boring. Also it shows just a too small picture of a land which has so much more facets. Japan kinda became my second home. Of course I have to admit that I'm still a tourist in a foreign country, but my photography work helps me to get behind Japans facade of respect, distance and mysteries. I give my best to hopefully one day being able to expand my business to Japan, so I could live part time in the Land of the rising sun ...also to this point if you're still reading, I want to thank you very much.
