This work was done between 2011 and 2014, some images were taken in Goma and Kinshasa during the 2011 electoral campaign, while others were taken when I was visiting my family. The goal was to capture the lingering tension between everyday life and ongoing political struggles, to show the restless beauty I experience every time I go back home.
