I'm Manuel and I'm 20 years of age. Currently I'm in my last year of education as a graphic designer. I am fascinated by capturing real moments and combining my graphic view of things with photography. I never plan my photos, but let most of them be created spontaneously on the spot. I see something and shoot the picture.

Ich dachte, ich hätte meine persönlichen Art zu Fotografieren gefunden, doch genau durch diesen Gedanken fand ich zu Beginn des Jahres meine Bilder nicht mehr spannend genug. Ich wollte mich weiterentwickeln und versuchte immer wieder meine Komfortzone zu verlassen. Dabei entstanden die ausgestellten Bilder, welche meine fotografische Arbeit dieses Jahres repräsentieren sollen.

When I'm travelling and discovering a city, a country or even a new culture for the first time, I encounter many new situations and impressions, and these are exactly what I try to capture. My exhibited pictures are mainly pictures of Copenhagen. I didn't inform myself about the city, because I wanted to find out what feelings my first impression of the Danish capital would trigger in me without any previous knowledge. What originated were compositions and situations which I spontaneously took photos of on my journey in the streets of Copenhagen. I try to disorient or make someone think about the visual content. So take your time and make your own thoughts about my photographs. Enjoy!
