Olivia Schenker (1993, CH) is a photographer, videographer and graphic designer whose work mainly explores intimacy, clothing and gender expression. Aspiring to transdisciplinarity, she combines both analog and digital photography, video and post-production manipulations. She obtained her Bachelor's degree with honours at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne) in 2018, where she then worked as video and photobook teacher. Involved in both graphic design and visual content, she co-founded Oil Productions in 2018, a fluid collective incubator for ethical explicit film production.

The work presented is a heterogeneous selection of images made over the last three years. Confronted with an applied purpose and collaborative processes, the images oscillate between fashion photography and personal projects. Fashion, always at the centre of interrogations, remains in spite of itself a living political archive, attached to our most intimate identity and at the same time a public declaration of it. Social adornment or work of art, clothing plays a fundamental role in the performative process that makes gender exist.
