Olivier Gisiger was born in Zürich in Switzerland in 1967. Throughout his life, Olivier has always been fascinated by cultural heritage and architecture and needed to find a way to share his vision. Naturally, he was drawn to photography. The images, that Olivier takes on his journey, are only part of the narrative. He uses his sensitivity to understand the materials, the light path and the particular sound of a building. Olivier cherishes to discover new places and connect with them. Olivier lives and works in the Lake Leman region in Switzerland and is available to travel worldwide.

The Paul & Henry Carnal Hall - Architecture in Immersion As an architectural photographer, Olivier always wanted to testify about the work of architects. Find ways to showcase their creativity and know-how. The Paul & Henri Carnal Hall, created by the famous Swiss architect Bernard Tschumi, was the perfect subject. Build with compressed wood, concrete, aluminum and glass, its rounded shape calls for wandering, discovering how the light flows into the building. Dedicated to Arts studying, administration and performances, the facility is well conceived with classes on one side, rehearsal rooms in the basement, a concert hall in the middle and a learning center facing southward.
