Philipp Maier

As can be seen in the work on show. Philipp has an affinity for analogue photography. He is fascinated with the process of slowing the frame down and thereby carefully choosing which images to capture. Furthermore he is trying to transport this kind of capturing images into digital photography as well. Eye-catching framing and unexpected perspectives create a unique harmony. Through abstraction of people and movement, the compilation seems anonymous and therefore independent. The aesthetics in this selection and arrangement of photographer is created through the specific composition of light, shadow and colours.
