Even as a child I was enthusiastic about taking pictures, guided by my mother, a portrait photographer. So the decision to make my way as a professional photographer was easier. This is how my way of photography began, 3 years of training in the backcountry. Followed by almost 6 years of traveling around the world as a photo assistant, with focus on fashion. Since 2016 I'm working as a freelance fashion photographer in munich.

„Trapped in Plastic“ is a personal project about superabundance of plastic waste: we produce it, use it and sink in. Underneath the plastic surface there is the hidden, or even vanished, handicraft. Beautiful unique handmade fashion pieces that we can barely see because of the excessive supply in everything. We found those unique pieces and captured them, vintage and new... In "Trapped in plastic" we focus on the beauty and it‘s innovative side. The set was built out of Plexiglas, to focus on the beautiful light braking caracteristics and abstractness that plastic can have. Every image shows traces of plasic, in the light, the couture or a detail. Plastic is everywhere now in our society, even in our bodies... Even though there are so many negative facts realted to plastic there also upsides. The problem is us humans and how we deal with it... We humans decide in with way we use plastic. In a superabundance or in a beautiful way. Shoot on Kodak Portra 400NC and TMX400 - Contax G2 and Pentax 645.
