Diese Fotoserie entstand mit dem Ziel, die Vielseitigkeit und Stimmungsvielfalt des Murtensees fotografisch einzufangen. Der See als zentrales Element steht sinnbildlich für Ruhe, Veränderung und Naturverbundenheit. Durch die Wahl des quadratischen Formats wird eine formale Ruhe erzeugt, die die Bildaussage zusätzlich stärkt.

In the images presented here I show the world of my neighbour and artist Heinz (Henne) Beier. Recycling trash in his workshop of ‘meaningful nonsense’ he creates a colorful, fantastic and vivid world. The images shown here illustrate the dedicated, open and friendly personality of Henne and how this is reflected in his masterpiece, the summerhouse called ‘Columifanteum’.

In the images presented here I captured people in their environment when they do not work. I aimed at illustrating how their activities are blending into the surounding environment. This generates an accidental harmony helping them to recover from daily work stress.

In this selection of photographs I aim to illustrate the narrow fin between tangibility and transcendence. What is real? What is imagination? Is reality just a figment of our imagination? Or is imagination the result of the subjectively perceived reality? Where is the border between the two? Or do they just blend into each other? Any way you put it they need each other.
