Su Yang was born in 1989, China. He spent his early childhood surrounded by nature and later moved to different cities with his family. After graduating from bachelor in Communication & Design in Shanghai, Yang became a fashion and commercial photographer in 2011. After achieving a success in his career , he found the urge to express his own voice as an artist through photography. During the master study at ecal in Switzerland, Yang found his strong connection to the nature.

Coming from a family with roots in traditional Chinese painting, the artist was encouraged to study art from an early age. During his studies, he bought his first camera, which allowed him to translate his ideas and thoughts through photography. Thanks to this new magic and the love he feels being behind the lens, he dedicates himself wholeheartedly to understanding the possibilities that his life and career will take with a camera at its center. Su Yang's work highlights his calm, yet spiritual and contemplative world. With the click of the shutter, we see beautiful moments captured by his unique vision. During the master study at ecal in Switzerland, Yang found his strong connection to nature. In his recent works, water becomes his main element to reflect his own experience and philosophy.
