Sculptures in Gold and Light
For this collection I chose five architectural highlights in Basel by Nichele and Rössler, Herzog and deMeuron, Tada Ando and Mario Botta complemented by the sculpture «Dirk’s Pod» by Richard Serra at Novartis Campus.
My aim is to honour the work of the architects as sculptors and artists and to unveil the soul, beauty and aesthetics of their contemporaneous works.
All buildings are well embedded in Basel’s architectural structure and connected to science, business and culture. The gold-and-silver-look is inspired by the renowned photographer John Kosmopoulos.
