"Black Swan" is a collaboration between Brazilian photographer Fabiana Nunes and dancer Felipe Alves. The idea was to bring lightness and beauty to the male universe of dance. The photo shoot was done in the studio, using a low key and exploring a long exposure to create the desired effect. The photographs are in black and white, and the dancer uses only a white fabric as a prop. The strong and masculine body, shaped like a sculpture with light and fragile fabric floating around, symbolizes the balance between the genders.

Dandara is a series of photographies created by the artist Fabiana Nunes and the graphic designer Albino Papa. The artists used as a reference the five elements: Water, Earth, Air, Fire and the element called Quintessence, which in this series is defined as the purest. Quintessence, in this series is a representation of us, constituted of all four natural elements that together created a new one. In the future this element will belong truly to this planet and it will be honor, cared for it and preserved. We live in a predatory society where economic growth, competition, the pressure to succeed and the destruction of the society are the main motto of the patriarchy. In a world suffering from global warming, pandemics and war, the Dandara of Fabiana and Albino becomes a strong woman that wants that wants relieve the feminine power that is unbalanced in this society by providing an image of the Sacred Mother Earth and alerting us that is the timing to connect with the planet. Dandara is also the name of the singer that was photographed in this series. A mother descendent of a black father that is also a defender of the indigenous people of Brazil. The name Dandara also means the black female warrior and the wife of Zumbi dos Palmares, the leader of the biggest marooned slaves community that flourished in the Northeast of Brazil in the XVII century. The name Dandara ended being associated with an entity that protects slaves.
