Every light casts a shadow. This project is about what is not seen at first sight. It's about looking one more time and realizing that something isn't quite right, that there's something dark behind it. Watching David Lynch's Twin Peaks as a child changed my perception of the world. Behind that perfect little town, with its beautiful and seemingly normal people, there was something wicked and dark. These photos reflect these, seemingly banal details seen during daylight. But looking closely, you can see that things are not always what they seem.
