Romain Sciacca was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1992.
After studying social work and gaining practical experience in the field, he returned to university to study journalism.
He now lives and works between Switzerland and Belgium, where he works as a photographer and news reporter. His work is oriented on human beings and the experiences they go through, their struggles and their doubts.
Alongside his commissioned work, he continues to build up a body of film-based work. He is currently working on a series entitled ‘Who are we when we are not ourselves?’.
