Shirin Kavin (-Winiger, born 1984 into a Swiss-Iranian family) is a self-taught artist based in Zurich.
With an exceedingly sensitive and equally uncompromising imagery, the artist devotes herself to examining human existence while experimenting with photography, sculptural objects, video, painting, poetry and mixed media installations.
